This week we're talking about the beds and bedding in Liv's Big Girl Room for The One Room Challenge.
I was given a pair of my Grandfather's wrought iron twin beds which will go in Liv's room.
I fell in love with this fabric made by Blush & Blooms called Floral Grey and ordered it from Fabric.com and will have my seamstress make it into two dust ruffles for the twin beds.
I'm also wild about Willa Heart and her fun chinoiserie French and Cha Cha Pillow and want to get them for a topper on the bed.
For the next layer of pillows, I am currently loving scalloped white silhouettes, so I ordered a pair of these Belle Epoque Isabel Scalloped Shams off of Amazon.
I have enlisted the help of my friends at The Horseshoe Crab in Savannah, Georgia to help me come up with a cute monogram to situate at the center top of the sham. I can not wait to see what they put together!
And I'm doing a third layer of pillows with Euro Sham out of my 'Savannah Fabric' for the final flourish on the bed.
I will top the bed with a simple white matelasse coverlet and add vintage quilts to the foot of each bed. I am hoping this comes together in a fun, whimsical, festive way!
