I often times get questions from other people about what inspires me. I think like most creatives, I'm inspired by a lot of things, but most namely the visual world. I find travel, food, textiles, films, and books to be inspiring.
I have found that it is really important that I keep good books on hand that provide lots of visual spark for me.
Here is a list of books I have bought or are on my wish list.
Classic Style: Hand It Down, Dress It Up, Wear It Out by Kate Scheleter
One Man's Folly: The Exceptional Houses of Furlow Gatewood by Julia Reed
Beautiful: All-American Decorating and Timeless Style by Mark D. Sikes
