This week we're talking Monograms, and my oh my do I just love a monogram.
I discovered Shuler Studio on Instagram and fell in love with Pam's beautiful creations. We emailed back and forth and discovered a mutual appreciation for one another's work and she agreed to partner up with me on the ORC.
I sent her images of the below shams I was working on for the ORC, and gave her all creative direction for creating a monogram (but I did say I lean towards classic, but fresh design.)
Pam designed the above monogram which I love love love to be placed on the center top portion of the shams.
She then connected me with Joanne of Modern Monogramming for the embroidery portion of the Monogram.
Here is a sample Joanne sent about Thread Options, and I told her to pick the best one, as I sometimes think phone photos are 'off'.
And here is the final version. Wild about it!
The only glitch in this whole situation is that Joanne sent me the finished package with the three shams over a week ago, and it still hasn't turned up. This gig us over in two weeks and I'm having the room photographed next week, so fingers crossed it appears.
