Cowgirl Mixed Media Painting, Nine

This series of "Cowboys and Cowgirls" was created on top of old paint palettes layered over French heavyweight papers. Each mixed media composition is intricately detailed, allowing a rich variety of colors and textures to emerge as the viewer looks closely.

The pieces incorporate a combination of acrylic paints, pens, colored pencils, and oil pastels.

Each piece comes double matted with the paper edges floating over the second mat in a burl frame (as shown in the photograph) that measures 17.5 inches x 14 1/4 inch.
