Artists look for inspiration everywhere: while our family was living abroad, I painted the series of flowers + bulbs shown in the image behind me.
And I have loved living with them for so long: they are evocative of new life, that everything has a season to bloom, rebirth and renewal.
I decided to create a group of Mini Needlepoint Canvases based around the paintings and I'm so glad to share them with you. These ten new designs are inspired by perennial bulbs that will bloom annually. Such little reminders of life and rebirth.
For this series, I had my finisher add a little stretchy band on the back to make them into napkin rings. They could easily be finished as little ornaments for an Easter Tree, as bag charm tags, or as Napkin Rings!
