Artists look for inspiration everywhere: while our family was living abroad, I painted the series of flowers + bulbs shown in the image behind me.
And I have loved living with them for so long: they are evocative of new life, that everything has a season to bloom, rebirth and renewal.
I decided to create a group of Mini Needlepoint Canvases based around the paintings and I'm so glad to share them with you. These ten new designs are inspired by perennial bulbs that will bloom annually. Such little reminders of life and rebirth.
For a while now I have been toying with a new needlepoint design concept: creating miniature ornaments that can double as a napkin ring. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I am thrilled to share with you all that they are finally here and joining the needlepoint canvas collection ranks!
