I'm offering just a few more 'How to Needlepoint Classes' in September, and hope that if you have wanted to learn how to stitch, you join in. The class will go over the basics of needlepointing and will come with a kit that includes a hand painted sample canvas, needles and threads.
The goal of this workshop is to get students stitching with confidence and to learn the most basic stitch: the basketweave. Bring your glasses and a pair of sewing scissors (if you have them!) and dig into your newest hobby!
As we kiss summer goodbye, I want to share this beach-themed candycane canvas inspired by one of our families' favorite vacation spots, Ponte Vedra, Florida just outside of Jacksonville.
The finished version of the Ponte Vedra Canvas: finishing done by my local needlepoint store, The Needletree in Greenville SC!
The newest Needlepoint Ornament design, The Christmas Angel, is here! This Christmas Angel is inspired by the joy of the holiday season.
The canvas measures approximately 4.5 x 4 inches and is painted on 18 count mesh. It was designed as a Christmas Ornament, but can be anything you can imagine!
The Advent season is upon us and that means Christmas decor galore! This year I took my Needlepoint ornaments and adorned my mantle with them. Hope you enjoy this Needlepoint inspiration!
Its the start of the most wonderful time of the year: that means lots of decorating, fun with family and friends... and that it's time to pull out the Holiday Needlepoint!
This year, I launched my Needlepoint Canvas Line, and have decided to display my prized stitching on our bannister with a garland instead of putting them on the Christmas Tree.
