For a while now I have been toying with a new needlepoint design concept: creating miniature ornaments that can double as a napkin ring. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I am thrilled to share with you all that they are finally here and joining the needlepoint canvas collection ranks!
This collection of a dozen needlepoint canvases measures approximately three by two inches and are oval canvases. They were created with the idea that these projects would be 'fast stitches' that any stitcher could complete over the weekend due to the smaller size of each canvas. I also envision some multigenerational stitchers collaborating on completing this project: it would be so exciting to see a family of multigenerational stitchers work on this together.
Here is a sneak peek of the upcoming designs and the backing canvas called 'Dover' in Colorway Blossom I used for them created by Elliston House.
