It is with very great excitement that I get to share a collaboration with local Greenville, South Carolina children's clothing brand, Prodoh. Prodoh's mission is to 'Get Kids Outdoors' - something that as a mother, I can 100% get behind. All of the clothing they make is highly technical, functional, and wearable. My kids have been sporting the samples from this line for about 9 months now, and we are wild about each piece from this line! This collaboration has been over a year in the making and it is thrilling to see these pieces finally go to market! I hope you like them and if you have a little person in your life, you pick up one of these...
I am thrilled about this small group of work that will be releasing next Thursday, June 18th, at 8:30am on The Campbell Collective site.
During quarantine, we had the great pleasure of visiting Carter & Holmes Greenhouses to preview their Orchids on a day trip to Newberry, and that trip was incredibly inspiring. I've also been working on how to get my orchids to re-bloom once the flowers fall off, and it is much easier than one might think.
Here is the entire group of work: I'll be hoping you find a piece you connect with and pick up an orchid that will always be in bloom!
Mother's Day is quickly coming and this year the Mamas have put in their fair share of work. I know that during this Covid-19 time, I've become a homeschool teacher, a short order cook, and constant entertainer. My family better gift me well, and art is the best gift any time!! Here are some styled images of the nests in my home. I hope you like them and gift one for your Mama this year!
Hope you enjoy these textural, fun little Robin's Nests!
Well, its looking like we will collectively be situated in our homes for a while. While the doctors, patients, and first responders remain in the forefront of my mind right now, I also am thinking of you all who are sitting at home. I lately have been very inspired by orchids and put pen to paper to create these coloring sheets. On Easter, I will have a contest to announce the winners in both an adult and kids category of this drawing contest. All you have to do is tag me at @MarquinCampbell in your stories on Instagram and there will be one winner with a $150 gift card for the ages 3-13 category and ages 14 & up category. Happy...
Since quarantine has begun, I have just been trying to approach the canvas without any plans and see where the brush takes me. It has more of an intuitive painting process- my favorite way to come to the canvas. This has been a super stressful experience (for all of us!) and I'm so grateful to have my paintbrushes to carry me through it. I do think this is some of my strongest work to date, so creative flow is one of the things many things I will be thankful for during this odd time. I hope wherever you are, whatever you are doing, you are safe, healthy, finding joy in the small things, and trying to do something creative for yourself...
