It's no secret: I just love Christmas! And designing Needlepoint Canvases has made me love the holiday all the more: basically you are stitching for Christmas year-round, so the festivities are now always top of mind. There is nothing better than decorating your home, opening your door to friends and family, and toasting to the holiday with a little cheer! So come on in to my house for a Christmas Tour!
This was my Christmas decor from last year featuring a bay leaf garland running down our stairs with needlepoint ornaments hanging from it. To secure the garland, I tied chunky pieces of velvet ribbon along the staircase. I hope it inspires you to do something fun and unexpected on your stairs to decorate for the season!
Every Christmas, I stitch a Christmas sweater for my little girl. This year, she has given me strict orders on how she wants her sweater to look and what she wants in it. Last year, she gave me total free rein, and this was her sweet little sweater!
For a while now I have been toying with a new needlepoint design concept: creating miniature ornaments that can double as a napkin ring. Well, ladies and gentlemen, I am thrilled to share with you all that they are finally here and joining the needlepoint canvas collection ranks!
