The Family Fun Map Project featuring Marquin's Art!

In June, the Family Fun Map featuring exciting places to discover with your little ones in Greenville, South Carolina, was published by local publisher, Good Printed Things.  The fold out map is simple: it features twenty blurbs about fun places to visit with children written by my friend, CEO of The Children's Museum here in Greenville, South Carolina, Lauren Luneckas.   I had the pleasure of creating the artwork for the map, and have framed the originals we used and listed them for sale.  If one of these spots speaks to you, I hope that you enjoy these framed and matted watercolors!

New Things in the Works

I sometimes think its interesting to see what artists are working on.  Currently, I'm taking the rest of the month of July to work on a series based around my town of Greenville, South Carolina.   All of these photos were taken by my super talented, wonderful friend, Kim Gibson.  She has such an elegant approach to photography, don't you think?  Plein Air Painting is such a pleasure, but is hard for me to squeeze in these days.  This morning was crisp and cool, and the Liberty Bridge in Downtown Greenville, SC is always a great subject to paint.  I hope to have a solid body of work inspired by Greenville by the month, so stay tuned!
