Since quarantine has begun, I have just been trying to approach the canvas without any plans and see where the brush takes me. It has more of an intuitive painting process- my favorite way to come to the canvas. This has been a super stressful experience (for all of us!) and I'm so grateful to have my paintbrushes to carry me through it. I do think this is some of my strongest work to date, so creative flow is one of the things many things I will be thankful for during this odd time. I hope wherever you are, whatever you are doing, you are safe, healthy, finding joy in the small things, and trying to do something creative for yourself...
Augusta Friends, I am so excited to be traveling with work from The Campbell Collective as well as my personal painting work for a Pop Up with Lauren Robbins Interiors.
Here is the scoop on the event: if you are in the Augusta, Georgia area or have a friend that might be interested, please share the event with them!Thank you so much for your support: it is so much fun to collaborate with other creatives in meaningful ways!
xoxo,
During Easter Season for a few years now, I've been offering up some Easter Crosses. This year, I have two options and they are art prints of two of my paintings placed under lucite.
I hope you check out the Reflection & Ripple Cross and add them to your Easter Baskets for your bunnies this year!
Yesterday, March 20th, was the first day of spring and let me tell you... it is TIME for a change of seasons! This year, I got a wild hair and decided to YouTube how to blow Eggs, dye them, and create our very own special DIY Easter Egg Tree. Warning to all of you: do not do this unless you have tons of time. I did the project over the course of a few days with my kids semi-watching and they thought the egg blowing and dying were really cool.
I hope you enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime creation. Now that the project is behind me, I'm so glad we took the time to create it.
