This month I'm gearing up for my 4th Creative Retreat in Soria, Spain. I can not wait to host the five wonderful women who are joining me this year, because there is absolutely something about Spain.
If you are an interior designer gathering inspiration (or purchasing antiques,) an artist coming to be inspired by Spain, or just want a creative reset, please know that I can not wait to host you for a week to see the world from a new angle!
Each of these trips has inspired me greatly and I love sharing 'my version of Spain' with American travelers!
The design collaboration with Prodoh Continues! We have been working together on five past seasons, and as I type this, I am sitting down to work on the 2023 collection with Prodoh. It is very special to continue this ongoing collaboration with Prodoh and to have my artwork become a part of the brand's DNA.
Here is what I helped the children's brand create for their 2022 Spring/Summer Collection!
Mother's Day is quickly coming and this year the Mamas have put in their fair share of work. I know that during this Covid-19 time, I've become a homeschool teacher, a short order cook, and constant entertainer. My family better gift me well, and art is the best gift any time!! Here are some styled images of the nests in my home. I hope you like them and gift one for your Mama this year!
Hope you enjoy these textural, fun little Robin's Nests!

I do think this is some of my strongest work to date, so creative flow is one of the things many things I will be thankful for during this odd time. I hope wherever you are, whatever you are doing, you are safe, healthy, finding joy in the small things, and trying to do something creative for yourself...
If you have been with me for a while, you know how much I adore Angels. They have huge significance to me, and appear in my work over and over again. I was approached by my daughter's school to develop an Angel Painting for an upcoming auction. The school also wanted for each child to be present in the painting. I decided to create an angel loosely based around some of the beautiful art that I had seen late last summer in Florence, Italy. The Florentine masters painted angels with colorful wings, so that was a direction I went with for this piece. And to incorporate each child into the work, I worked with them to make fingerprint 'stars' in...
