James Farmer Luncheon Decor

I was so happy to be tapped by the Greenville County Museum of Art to create a table top for James Farmer's Luncheon in conjunction with their Antiques show. The Silver is Francis the First The China was my Grandmothers and we use it as our everyday Rachel Knowlton created the calligraphy for the place cards The linens were some of my Grandmothers old ones The flowers also have some fruits incorporated into the arrangement for whimsy and fun.

Garden & Gun's Mercantile Featuring Marquin's Turkey Spur Cufflinks

Amanda Louise X Boho Style File Use Marquin Designs in their One Room Challenge

My two friends, Amanda Louise, and Jenny of Boho Style File, joined up to create a beautiful porch in Jenny's new home for the One Room Challenge.  Amanda Louise had her workroom create these beautiful pillows from my Blue Cobalt Fabric And the girls also incorporated one of my Large Acrylic Vanity Trays into their Beautiful Bar Cart Looking good, girls! I love partnering up with other creatives and seeing how they run with some of the things I create: these are definitely totally different ways of using the fabric and acrylic tray than what I would've used them for, and they are just beautiful.  I can not wait to see how this beautiful porch comes together in the reveal...

The One Room Challenge Week Six: Fabrics and Finishings

So this is the last blog post till the grand reveal!This ORC for me has personally been a bit of doozie.  The rug I ordered a LONG time ago looks like it won't be delivered on time (although I'm keeping my fingers crossed.) And my fan looks like it can't be capped. (I literally can not stand the ugly lights at the bottom of it.) Oh, and I did eventually find the monogrammed shams: they were temporarily lost, but they are now in hand. (Alleluia!)  I am highlighting some fabrics we are using and the details on them I love most.  Here is a bolster neck roll I designed that has a linen leopard print and a burt orange velvet.  Here...
