Garden & Gun's Mercantile Featuring Marquin's Turkey Spur Cufflinks

I am so pleased that Garden & Gun Magazine's Mercantile is carrying my Turkey Spur Cufflinks I designed these a few years ago after my husband shot a large Turkey while on a hunting excursion in his hometown of Thomasville, Georgia.  They have been featured in Garden and Gun, and I have sold hundreds of pairs of them in Pewter, Sterling Silver, and Gold.  If you are looking for an exquisite gift for your favorite outdoorsmen, keep these unique baubles in mind.  I also have added a Turkey Spur full tux set to the collection, and they are a great add-on.

Amanda Louise X Boho Style File Use Marquin Designs in their One Room Challenge

My two friends, Amanda Louise, and Jenny of Boho Style File, joined up to create a beautiful porch in Jenny's new home for the One Room Challenge.  Amanda Louise had her workroom create these beautiful pillows from my Blue Cobalt Fabric And the girls also incorporated one of my Large Acrylic Vanity Trays into their Beautiful Bar Cart Looking good, girls! I love partnering up with other creatives and seeing how they run with some of the things I create: these are definitely totally different ways of using the fabric and acrylic tray than what I would've used them for, and they are just beautiful.  I can not wait to see how this beautiful porch comes together in the reveal...

Oh, and I did eventually find the monogrammed shams: they were temporarily lost, but they are now in hand. (Alleluia!)  I am highlighting some fabrics we are using and the details on them I love most.  Here is a bolster neck roll I designed that has a linen leopard print and a burt orange velvet.  Here...

The One Room Challenge Week Five: Monograms

This week we're talking Monograms, and my oh my do I just love a monogram.  I discovered Shuler Studio on Instagram and fell in love with Pam's beautiful creations.  We emailed back and forth and discovered a mutual appreciation for one another's work and she agreed to partner up with me on the ORC.  I sent her images of the below shams I was working on for the ORC, and gave her all creative direction for creating a monogram (but I did say I lean towards classic, but fresh design.)  Pam designed the above monogram which I love love love to be placed on the center top portion of the shams.  She then connected me with Joanne of Modern Monogramming...
